Check the notice period in the contract first — often a month, sometimes three. Send it so that you can prove the date: by registered post, or through the provider’s own account with the confirmation saved.

How to send it

What almost always counts is not the date on the letter but the date it arrives. Send it by registered post, or hand it in and ask for a stamp on your own copy — that gives you the proof the deadline is counted from.
