The required details about who runs this site and who answers for what is on it.

1. Operator

This site is run by Henry Moskovych, a private individual established in Slovakia. Write to hi@uanear.com: it is the only contact address, legal matters included. The same person is responsible for the site’s own content.

2. What this service is

UA Near is a free, non-commercial directory run by a private individual, not by a company. There is no company behind it, and the operator has neither a VAT identification number nor an entry in a commercial register. There is no advertising and the order of the results cannot be bought: the “Our choice” mark is an editorial decision, and a place among the partners costs nothing.

3. Responsibility for content

The operator answers for the text of the pages, for editorial decisions and for the listings compiled here. Content added by visitors and owners — reviews, community requests, replies and edits to listings — is the responsibility of whoever wrote it. For that content we are a hosting provider: we do not monitor it in advance, but we act as soon as we are told about a problem.

4. Links and third-party pages

Listings link to businesses’ own websites and to their social profiles. We do not run those pages and cannot influence what is published on them — their content is their operators’ responsibility. If a link leads to something unlawful, tell us through the contact form and we will take it down.

5. Copyright and images

The text, structure and design of the site belong to the operator and may not be reused without permission. Photographs on listings come from business owners or from public sources and carry the source and the licence where the source states one. If you hold the rights and a picture should not be here, write to hi@uanear.com and we will take it down.

6. Reporting illegal content

The point of contact for notices is hi@uanear.com. A particular listing can also be reported with the “Report a problem” form on its own page, and anything else through the contact form; no account is needed. So that we can act on a notice, tell us which page it concerns, what is wrong with it, why you consider it unlawful, and how to reach you.

7. Disputes and language

The operator concludes no consumer contracts with visitors, sells nothing and takes no payments, and therefore takes part in no alternative consumer dispute resolution. If something is wrong, write to hi@uanear.com first — most things are settled by an answer. The Slovak version of this page is the binding one; the other languages are translations of it, and the Slovak text prevails if they differ.
