UA Near for media

UA Near is a free, independent directory of Ukrainian and Ukrainian-speaking businesses, professionals and services abroad. It is read by Ukrainians who live, work or are staying outside Ukraine and want somewhere they will be understood in their own language.

The directory is built by city and by category: every category in every city has a page of its own — “Dentists in Bratislava”, “Accountants in Bratislava” — with contact details, opening hours, the languages spoken, prices where the owner has published them, and reviews. Beside the directory we keep a library of practical guides, a calendar of events, a news feed and free calculators.

Some listings are added by the owners themselves; the rest we find in public sources. A person reviews every one of them before it is published. The marks a listing can carry — Verified, the quality mark, Ukrainian-owned, Ukrainian spoken — each mean a different thing, and none of them is for sale: there is no advertising on the site, and a place in the results cannot be bought.

The project is independent: there is no network, agency or organisation behind it deciding who is shown here. Who runs the site and who answers for its content is on the legal notice at uanear.com/impressum.

My UA Near keeps private lists of businesses and updates from followed cities, businesses and organizers. Discovery remains available without an account.
