ANOFM helped 3,460 Ukrainians find jobs in Romania

Romania’s National Employment Agency says 25,347 Ukrainian citizens registered with its territorial offices between 24 February 2022 and 31 August 2026. They could receive free information, career counselling, job-matching, vocational training and EURES assistance.

ANOFM services helped 3,460 Ukrainians obtain work. The largest registered groups were in Constanța County, with 6,259 people, Bucharest with 5,578, Ilfov with 2,049, Brașov with 1,711 and Maramureș with 1,658.

A total of 777 employers reported 6,429 vacancies also available to Ukrainian citizens. Sectors included restaurants and hotels, automotive and electrical equipment manufacturing, construction, textiles, shipbuilding, furniture, footwear and food production. Offered roles included packers, kitchen workers, cooks’ and waiters’ assistants, welders, hotel room attendants, sales staff and production workers. The vacancy database is dynamic and updated regularly.
