Portugal strengthens AIMA with staff and digital services

Portugal's AIMA reported a 17% increase in staff numbers from July 2024 to July 2026. In the separate AIMA, EPE structure responsible for technological modernisation and digital transformation of services, the human-resources department grew by 35% over that period.

According to the agency's September forecast, overall staff growth should reach about 20%, and in AIMA, EPE it should reach 48%. AIMA explains that these teams develop digital platforms and technological solutions and support their operation in order to make processes more modern and effective for users.
