AIMA updates residence-document portal for EU nationals and their family members

Portugal’s AIMA has updated its document-renewal portal for EU nationals and their family members. It can be used to apply for a permanent residence certificate for an EU citizen or a permanent residence card for a family member.

NIF and NISS numbers are no longer required. Data validation may take about 30 minutes; applicants should then return to the portal to complete the submission and pay the fee. Technical problems can be reported through the contact form under Portal de Renovações.
