About the event

The 21st [fjúžn] festival, organised by the Milan Šimečka Foundation, is the largest multi-genre and multicultural event in Slovakia about migration and foreigners living here. Most of the programme is free; some concerts and performances cost 8–20 €. Ukrainian program: the [fjúžn] zone at the Dobrý trh market (19 September, Svoradova Park) with performances by Kateryna Kravchenko, the Sunday Ukrainian School in Bratislava, the dance group Vek šťastia (Sme Spolu) and a concert by HOROVOD; a picnic with Ukrainian cooks in the Prügerka garden (20 September); the dystopian physical theatre performance by the Ukrainian theatre Splash, Stado, at Ticho a spol. (20 September at 19:00); the exhibition "Unpublished Diplomas" about Ukrainian students who died during the Russian invasion, at Staré Lýceum (21–26 September, free admission).
