Czechia updates EZKarta with lab results and preventive-care records

Czechia has introduced a new version of the EZKarta mobile app. In addition to vaccination information, it now displays completed preventive check-ups and screenings, laboratory results, a blood donor card, medical assessments and selected data from the shared health record.

Users can check which preventive examinations they are currently entitled to and when they can have the next ones. The app also allows them to manage the profiles of minor children and other people whose health data they are legally authorized to access.

The government said EZKarta is gradually changing from an electronic vaccination certificate into a personal digital health overview. More hospitals and healthcare facilities are being connected to the system step by step.
