Czechia will raise the minimum wage to CZK 24,900 in 2027

The Czech government approved coefficients for calculating the minimum wage in 2027 and 2028. In 2027, the monthly minimum wage will rise from the current CZK 22,400 to CZK 24,900, and in 2028 it will be set at CZK 26,900.

For 2027, the ratio of the minimum wage to the average wage will be 44.6%, represented by a coefficient of 0.446. For 2028, it will rise to 45.8%, or a coefficient of 0.458. The calculated amounts are based on the Czech Finance Ministry's August 2026 forecast for the average gross wage.

The government said it aims to bring the minimum wage to 47% of the country's average wage in 2029.
