Unemployment in Czechia remained at 5% in August

Registered unemployment in Czechia stood at 5.0% at the end of August 2026, unchanged from July. The Labour Office registered 373,891 jobseekers, 40,267 more than in August last year.

The authority reminded workers that they can seek advice and support in finding a new job before their current employment ends.
