## Why we built this

Chat recommendations get lost. Good contacts shouldn’t.

Moving abroad means finding everything again: a doctor, a tradesperson, a lawyer or a welcoming café.

We built UA Near so useful contacts stay available in your city, instead of disappearing into chat history.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need to register?

No. You can search businesses, read guides and browse events without an account.

### Why sign in with Google?

It’s a convenient way to access your account. You can also register with your email address.

Browsing needs no account. You sign up — with your own email address or through Google — to leave a review, open or answer a community request, add your business or manage its profile. Signing in with Google gives us your name and email address, along with technical identifiers for the link between the two accounts; the privacy policy has the details.
